Convenience and Comfort for a Great Fishing Trip!

Our guests never feel crowded with our variety of lodging options. Many of our guest buildings have common areas with couches, refrigerators and fly-tying benches. The Main Lodge is conveniently located and offers an inviting central gathering place for evening appetizers and relaxation before and after dinner.

In the main lodge, our clothing and gift shop carries a selection of technical clothing, fishing accessories and authentic Alaskan gift items. Various sundries are also available.

The main lodge also offers a fly-tying area stocked with materials for creating flies that work on the Alagnak River. All of our guides are ace fly-tyers and happy to teach anyone interested in learning.

Phenomenal Food

Katmai Lodge is known for delicious meals, excellently prepared every day for our guests.

Breakfast is hearty, and dinners – well you just have to try them! We serve everything from turkey with all the trimmings, to prime rib, halibut, grill nights, and our Famous Italian Buffet. And of course, we serve salmon prepared in a variety of ways, including an incredible smoked salmon appetizer plate. A choice of wine and beer is served with dinner, along with various soft drinks.

Lodge meals are served buffet-style in our spacious dining room, and lunch is prepared by your guide on the river.
