We spent 4 nights at Katmai Lodge. The stay was very enjoyable and we all had a great time. The fishing was very good. We spent about 65% of our time on the river fishing from the boat and 35% of the time fishing from sand bars and the shore wading in water. You have the ability to pick and choose whatever you want to do.. spinning rod or fly fishing.

I spent seven amazing days here. I have stayed at several 5-star hotels that. could learn from them, Every staff interaction was amazing… No need to pack gear, their well-stocked equipment room has everything you need for a week of amazing fishing.

Lodge, Fishing, Guides, Staff, Food etc were all great. Just got back from fly fishing for a week. Recommend this lodge. The water level is down because of lack of rain, snowpack melt in July etc. But the guides worked extremely hard to find the Fish. Special thanks to Charmel, Brent, Kenny, Matthew, Miles, John, Beverly and everyone else. You guys rocked it! Cheers and tight lines until the next time!
